About
River Roots Digital is run by Chris Lumpkin, a cloud engineer who also owns and operates a craft brewery in Colonial Beach, Virginia. That means every recommendation comes from someone who has done payroll at midnight, booked the band, and wondered why the website was down on a Saturday.
The tools that big companies use to run lean are within reach of a taproom, a bait shop, or a bed and breakfast. The trick is picking the right few and setting them up so they just work. That's the job.
The name says it: technology should be a living thing with roots in your community, not a monthly bill you resent.
